Dr. Mai Nguyen earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Southern California College of Optometry (SCCO). While at SCCO she was the recipient of the Vision for Excellence Scholarship. This was awarded in recognition for her academic achievements. She was the winner of the Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society Research Grant for her clinical research in the field of dry eye disease. She has worked with the Indian Health Service in New Mexico and in the private practice environment in California, Texas and Colorado.

Dr. Nguyen is experienced in providing contact lens services, surgical co-management and comprehensive eye care. She is licensed by the Colorado Board of Optometry and is a member of the Colorado Optometric Association as well as the American Optometric Association. She participates on a national level in the cornea and contact lens section of the AOA. Dr. Nguyen is a graduate of the University of Houston with a BS in Human Nutrition earned with honors.

Dr. Nguyen is committed to enhancing her patients’ lives by providing them with clear, comfortable and healthy vision. She is also dedicated to serving the community by providing vision screening at local schools and participating in activities at local food banks in Colorado.

In her spare time Dr.. Nguyen enjoys hiking, kayaking and reading.
